Hi

Post by Sheeba »

Hi,

New to the forum and quite new to Buddhism. A bit of background I have been to a temple for an open day specializing in New Kadampa and read a few books mainly focused on Basics an Introduction and a What is. I meditate daily using an app called Calm.

Currently as suggested in a post on here viewtopic.php?t=42522 I am working my way through "A short introduction to Buddhism course" by Bhikkhu Bodhi and plan to learn as much as I can about Theravada and start practicing.

I look forward to hearing from you all in due course

Hello, Sheeba, and welcome to Dhamma Wheel. :anjali:

Have a look at the Theravada for Beginners section viewforum.php?f=24- there's some good stuff there. In particular the Introductory Resources section.
