Guided meditation?

What is the Suttas talk about guided meditation?

In the following video venerable Jinalankara said that there was no guided meditation in Buddha's time.
In his opinion, it is not possible to guide someone to attain Jhana.

The video is in Sinhalese and provided only for the source reference.

How about Girimananda Sutta?
It sounds like guided meditation, especially the Anapanasati section.

For most new to yoga asanna it is a very valid question...

what holds you is a question to ask in your daily or nightly rounds of existence?

figure that out then meditation naturally will follow.
