Hello people, nice to meet you all.
I write this from a nice little country town somewhere north of Montreal. I am a solitary person who works from home and meditates quite a lot. Grew up as a Hindu, became an atheist now back to religion/ spirituality. Have been interested in Buddhism mainly Theravada since the last few months. Attended a Vipassana retreat which went well. I have been seriously considering wrapping things up in the next 1-2 year and becoming a monastic for a few years. Until then I plan on attending some retreat here and there just to see how I fare. Good luck to you all.

May you fulfill your wish to be a monastic, if Karma wills it.
