willed vs unwilled

Post by confusedlayman »

willed thoughts and resulting of experience of those thoughts are impermanent as if those willed thoughts are replaced by another willed thought or willed thought ends without reminder due to not willing, then all willed experience are impermanent.

Willed intension or experience always have root in ignorance

all willed experience even divine feelings are non-nibanna

unwilled cannot happen by willing for unwilled... instead unwilled happens when there is complete stoppage of willed. complete stopage of willed experience ends only when ignorance ends.

only arhant can master the thoughts due to complete ignorance end..

this post shall serve as guideliness and map.

One question ...

When you made this OP, was the intention and thought willed, or did it just 'pop up'?
Do you know what your next thought will be?
Notice carefully
And what is right speech? Abstaining from lying, from divisive speech, from abusive speech, & from idle chatter: This is called right speech.

i thought i can share this statement. its not about knowing what is next thought is or not knowing... it about one thought gets disappear without remainder and another thought arises

One thought has to disappear before the next one appears for the simple reason that you cannot think 2 words at the same time.
As you read the words on this page isn't this the case? You just have to observe very closely.
You cannot even think of 2 letters at the same time - abcdef... but the same thought can keep recurring -->abcdabcdabcd or even aaaa.

All thoughts are 'unwilled' in the sense that you don't know what the next thought will be until you become aware of it!
And what is right speech? Abstaining from lying, from divisive speech, from abusive speech, & from idle chatter: This is called right speech.

Willed thoughts can't last. Willed intention is the only experience that there can be. And every time it happens it's due to lack of true understanding.

And it's not about any kind of thinking and thoughts, it's only about willed intentional thinking and thoughts. This is the problem, not general thoughts and thinking.

:goodpost:

Only that Arahant is not mastering any thoughts but he abides having mastered them. And mastering means ceasing of any intentional thinking. No more sankharas for them.
